Unlike the deep-forest safaris of Central India, Jhalana offers a rare, almost cinematic intimacy: leopards moving across open boulders and dry teak in golden morning and evening light, often within close, unhurried range.

Best Time to Visit

October to March offers cool, comfortable weather with sparse vegetation — leopards are easily spotted sunbathing on open rocks. April to June brings intense heat, but sightings near waterholes become highly rewarding as animals seek relief from the sun.

Itinerary

Each day is carefully planned for the best possible experience.

Day 1 – Arrival at Jaipur

Arrive at Jaipur Railway Station or Airport between 9 AM–12 PM, where our pickup vehicle will already be waiting for you. Transfer to Red Fox by Lemon Tree, located in the heart of Jaipur city, and check in. In the afternoon, get ready by 3:15–3:30 PM for pickup ahead of your evening safari (4:00 PM–6:30 PM). After the safari, you'll be dropped back at the hotel, with the evening free to explore the city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 – Morning & Evening Safari

Early start today — be ready by 5:30–5:45 AM for your morning safari (6:15 AM–8:45 AM), with high chances of leopard sightings. Return to the hotel with the rest of the day free to explore Jaipur. In the evening, head out again for your second safari (4:00 PM–6:30 PM), followed by return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – Morning & Evening Safari

Another early start for your morning safari (6:15 AM–8:45 AM), followed by a free day to continue exploring the city. In the evening, enjoy your final full-day safari (4:00 PM–6:30 PM) before returning to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 – Morning Safari & Departure

One last morning safari (6:15 AM–8:45 AM) before checking out. With plenty of time still left in the day, explore more of Jaipur's forts, palaces and bazaars before your onward journey.
